Marie had been running around all day, not getting ready for the ball like almost all of the girls were doing. She had been out to the border of the forbidden forest, as she had to spending time with the unicorn. All day she had been riding or running or combing its hair. She had ridden to a pond where she had watched the deer, pop out of the forest and dart to the water. She had left the unicorn as she always did, a hug and a promise to meet the following day.
It was now 4:30 in the afternoon and Marie made it into Hogwarts to find girls running around with half their hair done or their face in two different states of make up - horrific scenes. She laughed as she made it to the door of the Ravenclaw dorms door. Sat in groups were boys that looked a little disgruntled. She saw a boy from her class and smiled. "Have the girls kicked you all out or something? What's it like in there? I can't stand getting ready for things like this." She sighed.
The boy, Peter, chuckled. "Yes. All of the big yes aren't allowed in until 5 and the ball starts at six. Well based on the way you look, we can all tell that you aren't a girly girl." He chuckled.
Marie chuckled and smiled, waving she left him and went her dorm. She got out her dress and smiled. Her mother had sent it too her after taking measurements. Marie smiled at the dress. She loved it and couldn't wait to show pictures to her mum and she couldn't wait to see Scorpio. She could imagine him in a suit. She sat in front of the mirror and sighed. She grabbed the curlers and began to curl her hair.
