No, Remus and Giuseppe had not called for Mama to deal with their problems. They were thousands of years old, especially Remus. As she looked round the room, Mama marveled at the lavishness of the home. There was a full open concept kitchen, a large living room, and a big bedroom. Oh, how she loved the decor! The only thing she currently disliked about the place was the Frenchman. She looked at him when he spoke, her calculating eyes piercing into his soul like a sharpened rapier. Jean had a nice body, that was for sure. But Celestina Castro had everything a man stereotypically yearned for in a woman – a slim, smooth leg; a large chest; a slim waist, but not so slim that she looked to be starved; and dainty hands. The only thing Celestina lacked was the urge to get in the kitchen and make a damn sandwich. Nobody ordered Mama around, and she would make that clear. She didn’t care how much of a charmer he was, nor how good with words he was - she would not bend. He would, instead, be the one bending to her will. She was sharp as a damn tack and, God willing, she would stay that way.

With respect to Jean, Celestina put her hand in his, allowing him to kiss it. “I see. Pleased to meet you both. And here I was under the impression that Francois was my son’s mate. Do not tell me that he lied to his poor old Mama... I simply cannot stand being lied to...” It hurts my little Italiano heart knowing that I cannot trust my loved ones to tell me the truth once in a while...” She gave a small sigh, looking off into the distance, her ruby red, full lips in a pout. She may be 3000+ years old, but Mama was still sensitive to some things, and this was by far the biggest thing. “You would not hurt Mama, would you?” she asked innocently.

Celestina sat on the cushy bed, smiling at Jean. She looked to France and said “Is she well? Would it be a bother for me to speak with her at all?” She knew something was up, she had just been faking it the whole way. She stood up and stared daggers at him again, whispering menacingly “I would say yes if I were you, ragazzo, for if you deny me conference with her so I can figure out which of you truly is lying to me, so help me, I will drag your sorry ass home to Italy and feed you to my hounds, alive!” Celestina meant every word she was saying, at least in theory. She had reached for his shirt collar to grab it and pull his face towards her so as to close the gap between them. Giuseppe gave Jean a pointed look, to indicate that she meant it. He had had scars from ages ago, when his mother would lock him in the room where she kept said canines, leaving him to fend for himself.

Celestina loved how Jean was paying so much attention to her. It was more than what she got from Giuseppe's siblings - he had two younger sisters, a younger brother, and three older brothers. She smiled up at Jean, but the sme faded when she said "Sette figli... Seven children, and Mama is not loved by any of them..." Though it was the truth - or her interpretation of it, at least - she was testing Jean to ensure that his intentions were true. "I highly doubt that you have had a quarrel with this young lady. Instead of 'we' you mean 'I'. My son told me that you came here and broke down the door." Turning to Giuseppe, she asked "Isn't that right, bambino?"

Giuseppe nodded and said "Si, Mama. The door, as you had seen, is in splinters, and my mate is unconscious. I don't know why he didn't think that I wouldn't hear the door break. I have hearing as sharp as you, if not sharper, Mama." Celestina nodded. "Remove the sleep-spell from her." As Mama said this, both Remus and Giuseppe looked at Jean with a devious look, as if to say "She's onto you, you're in deep shit now."

When she was complimented, Celestina growled a bit, her eyes turning blue, but on the verge of turning gold. "Flattery, ragazzo, with get you nowhere. Except in my hounds' room after they haven't eaten for a while. Do you want that?" That was when she totally snapped and her eyes went gold. "Screw you having alone time with your -or Giuseppe's - mate! Wake her the fuck up before I kill someone! I cannot trust even a damn stranger to be truthful, much less a man!"

At this point, Giuseppe went forth and grabbed his Mama by the arms, holding her close, singing an Italian lullaby."I would never lie to you, Mama. I never have, nor will I ever" he whispered as he kissed her cheek. Celestina sighed. "Grazie, figlio..." She mumbled, yet she was still quite upset. She looked at Jean and said "I have no power in this city, so you shall answer to Remus."

Remus walked closer to France and leaned forth with his arms outstretched so he could scoop her up. "Wake her up or Giuseppe has my full permission to enter her dreams. On another note, why be so hostile? You didn't complain when France and I had our, er... flings." He smirked, knowing that the French bastard didn't know about that until that point.
