Marie was happy that it was the weekend finally, even though she was in first year she was doing some extra year two classes. She was picked on by most of her peers in her classes in both year one and year two and even by some kids in her dorm. She was picked on for being intelligent but what they did not know was that her intelligence did not come naturally and that she had had to work hard for her grades. Many nights she snuck out into a covered area of the courtyard at night to study and practice her magic. As per usual she was found in the library, missing breakfast, her lack of food was being to show in her body image so she was wearing baggy jumpers to hide it. She didnt care for food and found her grades more important. No one was in the library so she was practising her wand patterns with a pencil, she didnt trust herself with a wand when practicing. She had been practising this one pattern for ages and was still getting, after getting it wrong one more time she sighed and let her head fall to her desk. "Ah sh*t!" She whisper shouted. She groaned as she began to roll her head side to side to try and ease the pain and forget about it. Quidditch practice was going to begin in fifteen minutes but she had it already in her head that she was going to miss it like she had done the week before. She was struggling with the effort of keeping up good grades, she did not want to let her parents down even though she did know that they wouldn't mind if she did okay at school. But she was determined to use her school work to take her mind off her missing her brother and her going through the changes of becoming a vampire. She had been avoiding Scorpious lately and often strategically moved where she studied and hung out so that he did not find her. It wasn't anything personal but she felt like she was a burden to him when all she was doing when she was with him was crying about her brother and studying. She had successfully avoided many people lately, skipping meals was her favourite. In the early hours she was sneak into the kitchens and steal a few bread rolls to make it through the day, but she had to attend the evening meals which was usually when Mcgonagol spoke to the whole school. As per her routine she packed up all of her belongings into her leather satchel, wrapped her scarf around her neck a few times and then pulled her jumper sleeves over her hands. She made sure to check that her laces of her army style boots were tied as she had a habit of forgetting and tripping on them lately. She walked out of the library, moving her falling hair out of her face, she began to walk towards the bridge that would take her past Hagrid's house and to the Forbidden forest where she would sit on her favourite rock and bask in the morning sun - a rareity in Britain. This is where she hoped to see her unicorn, she remembers the day she first saw him as it was the day that she met Scorpious' father, Draco, on one of his now frequent visits.
