((Marie, tell me what you think, hon. I just felt we needed another RP for them XD))
Kitt awoke promptly at six AM one day, smiling. He knew it was almost time for Marie to go to Hogwarts and hoped that, since McGonagall was communicating with her, she had had time to rethink her decision. He knew that McGonagall had spoken to her about all the things to know about Hogwarts. The woman was a walking, talking copy of Hogwarts: A History.
He chuckled at the thought of McGonagall telling Marie all about Hogwarts. The child's head must have been absolutely spinning by the end of it. Kitt got out of bed, kissing his wife on the temple once he was dressed.
He knew she would probably already be awake. Marie seemed to be an early bird these days, especially since her brother's brief visit to the castle. He still felt a chill from that day, passing through the halls. Nevertheless, he smiled as he knocked on her door. "Marie, darling, rise and shine. I'm taking you somewhere special today," he said as he drew back the drapes and curtains in her room. He'd surprise her by taking her to Diagon Alley to buy her books and things. They'd have to go to Gringott's Wizarding Bank first, however, for money.
"Marie, love," he said as he fiddled absentmindedly with the curtains with his back turned to his daughter, "I really do hope that you are happy, that you don't hate me for trying to coerce you into going to Hogwarts. Yes, Scotland is far, but I am sure I would be able to find time to visit if you got homesick. Take your cousin as an example. Xavier gets homesick, I am sure, but being that he shifts into a cat, he is more stoic about it. I would never want you to be upset with me, darling."
He turned to her and smiled, hoping she would voice her opinion. "I will do anything to make you happy, love."
