As Andromeda sat on Roscoe's bed and she listened to his apology and assurance that she could stay, she felt a little bit better, but not by much. She told him it was okay and that he needn't apologize. She still felt terrible about how she acted, and nothing was going to help that but time. One day she would look back on this visit fondly, no longer remembering the incident with Allegra. But for the time being, her shame was too strong to be swayed by Roscoe's words. She looked at him and smiled weakly though "Thank you. Thank you for trying to make me feel better too. I just.... Well, I guess I'm just kinda sensitive. That's why I get embarrassed so easily. You probably think by how emotional I am that it's my time of the month, but this is just how I am." She shrugged in an "oh well" expression and gave him a sheepish smile.
When he took her hand she gave his hand a gentle squeeze in return and sighed "Why was Luca smiling, Roscoe? Did I look hilarious? I'm sure a simple tiny white girl like me must look pretty comical when she gets angry, but..." She didn't know what to think of Luca's smile. Maybe he found her adorable and that made him smile? Andy highly doubted that though. To be honest, his smiling like that made her feel a little uneasy. With a little shudder, she hoped Luca wouldn't try to take advantage of her current state and try to do any funny business. Between her dizziness and other symptoms, she did assume she would be an easy target. However, she pushed those thoughts away. She was too fond of Luca to think so poorly of him. Because of her strong affection for him, Andy forced herself to believe he was a good man, whatever he was thinking while smiling. Love has a way of making one believe nothing but the best of their crush.
Andy truly enjoyed Roscoe's hugs. They made her feel warm and fuzzy on the inside. She rarely was hugged by any friends, and it was a nice feeling. She smiled some, feeling a little better. She actually felt well enough to try a little dessert, but she didn't think she would be eating much of it "Just a bit of dessert. I'm still pretty stuffed from all that I did eat." She smiled at him once more and suddenly she felt kinda giddy and more hyper than she usually felt. She didn't really know what was causing this good feeling, but she liked it. Feeling a bit more daring than usual from this newfound giddiness, she quickly turned towards Roscoe and gave his cheek a quick kiss "You're sweet, you know that?" Andy did truly appreciate all that he was doing for her, even if she was still a bit too ashamed to feel that she deserved such kindness.
(Good!)
